How to fix Creative Cloud desktop app when it won't open
Adobe today released new versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements. Apple's 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Mini-LED display will launch in the first quarter of 2021, according to a new. If the Creative Cloud desktop app won't open and displays any of the following messages, follow the instructions in the message.
Your apps are taking longer than usual. Relaunch Creative Cloud or restart your computer and try again.
Loading applications seems to be taking longer than usual.
Creative Cloud seems to be taking longer than usual to initialize.
If the Creative Cloud desktop app still won't open, try the solutions below until resolved.
Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app in one of the following ways, depending on the version you have installed:
macOS: Press Cmd + Q. Then, select Quit.
Windows: Press Ctrl + W. Then, select Quit.
Select the three vertical dots icon in the upper-right corner and choose Quit.
Close all applications that are open on your system.
Restart the computer and launch the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop app using the Creative Cloud desktop app uninstaller.
Sign in to the Creative Cloud website to begin downloading the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Double-click the downloaded file to begin installation:
macOS:Creative_Cloud_Installer.dmg
Windows:Creative_Cloud_Set-Up.exe
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete your installation.
Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app in one of the following ways, depending on the version you have installed:
macOS: Press Cmd + Q.Then, select Quit.
Windows: Press Ctrl + W. Then, select Quit.
Select the three vertical dots icon in the upper-right corner and choose Quit.
Browse to the following location based on your operating system.
The AppData folder is hidden in Windows by default. See Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions | Windows for instructions to access it.
The Users<user folder>Library is hidden by default for macOS 10.7 and above. See Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later for instructions to access it.
Delete all the files within the OOBE folder, but do not delete the folder itself.
Restart the computer and launch the Creative Cloud desktop app again.
Note:
The app can take slightly longer than usual to load with this solution, as content in the OOBE folder is rebuilt while launching.
